The grand jury in Fulton County, Georgia, connected to the investigation of former President Donald Trump, recommended charging dozens of people, including Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), former Georgia Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Purdue, and attorney Lin Wood.

The grand jury’s report recommended indicting nearly 30 people over the “national effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election, focused on efforts in Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia.”

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis indicted Trump last month in Georgia, where he was arrested shortly thereafter. Willis also targeted 18 others connected to Trump, including lawyers John Eastman, Sidney Powell, Kenneth Chesebro, Jenna Ellis, and Ray Smith, who were each charged with violating the state’s RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization) act.

All 19 defendants pleaded not guilty to their charges.

Trump reacted to the grand jury report on his social media platform Truth Social, writing:

“The Georgia Grand Jury report has just been released. It has ZERO credibility and badly taints Fani Willis and this whole political Witch Hunt. Essentially, they wanted to indict anybody who happened to be breathing at the time. It totally undermines the credibility of the findings, and badly hurts the Great State of Georgia, whose wonderful and patriotic people are not happy with this charade of an out of control “prosecutor” doing the work of and for, the DOJ. ELECTION INTERFERENCE!”

A recent University of Chicago survey found millions of U.S. adults believe “use of force” is justified to block Trump from winning the White House again.

Just over 11% of U.S. adults agree that “use of force” is justified to “prevent Donald Trump from becoming president,” the survey found.

According to the U.S. Census, the United States has roughly 258.3 million adults. Based on the survey’s findings, a whopping 28 million American adults believe “use of force” is acceptable to prevent Trump from winning the 2024 presidential election.
