ISIS has called on their supporters to “slaughter” American voters on Election day as well as for Muslims not to vote in the election.
The terror group told their supporters “to slaughter you and smash your ballot boxes,” as a part of seven-page manifesto titled “The Murtadd Vote” through its Al Hayat media center.
The manifesto also said that there is no difference between Republican and Democratic in the U.S. in their “policies against Islam and Muslims.”
The threat comes just days before polls open up for the 2016 presidential election.
The new threat also comes just days after U.S. officials warned of al-Qaeda attacks on the United States on Monday.
FBI officials disclosed the information to CBS News saying that they have planned attacks on New York, Texas and Virginia.
“The counterterrorism and homeland security communities remain vigilant and well-postured to defend against attacks here in the United States,” an intelligence official told CBS News.
“The FBI, working with our federal, state and local counterparts, shares and assesses intelligence on a daily basis and will continue to work closely with law enforcement and intelligence community partners to identify and disrupt any potential threat to public safety.”
