WASHINGTON–Joint Staff Spokesperson Col. DeDe S. Halfhill provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley met with Jordanian Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti yesterday in Amman, Jordan.
The two leaders discussed several issues of mutual concern in the Middle East and the broader regional security situation. Gen. Milley affirmed the U.S. commitment to its strategic security relationship with Jordan in facing regional and global challenges.
The U.S. and Jordan share a strong military-to-military relationship as key partners committed to peace and security in the Middle East region.
