A woman has been charged after threatening to kill federal agents who were supporting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the arrest of individuals at the Malden District Court in Massachusetts.
In a Thursday press release, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts announced that 37-year-old Bethany Abigail Terrill was charged with “threatening to kill federal agents who were engaging in lawful immigration enforcement.”
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts explained that the incident occurred as federal agents were helping ICE carry out an administrative immigration arrest of individuals in the area of Malden District Court. The press release noted that the federal agents encountered Terrill outside Malden District Court.
“It is alleged that Terrill physically interjected herself into the middle of agents while they were effecting an arrest,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts stated. “Terrill was allegedly verbally abusive, attempted to physically interfere with the arrest and ultimately made threatening statements to kill the federal officers on scene. “

The 37-year-old allegedly approached the federal agents, screamed at the agents, and pushed through the agents in an effort to record a video on her cell phone. Terrill alleged shouted, “ICE is here, ICE is here,” “You guys are monsters, this is insane,” “Sir, what’s your name, what’s your name,” “I can try to help you,” and “I am an American civilian, I have a right to be here,” while continuing to push past the agents.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts explained that federal agents repeatedly instructed the 37-year-old to “back up.” However, Terrill refused to comply with the instructions of the federal agents and continued to try to push past them.
During her confrontation with the federal agents, Terrill allegedly called the agents “Nazis” and “disgusting” and shouted, “Charlie Kirk died, and we love it… We’re coming for you, gonna kill you,” according to court documents.
When a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent attempted to detain Terrill, the 37-year-old “was actively resistant and fought to escape.” Three additional federal agents eventually assisted the FBI agent in placing Terrill in restraints.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, Terrill could face up to 10 years in prison, a fine of $250,000, and three years of supervised release if she is convicted.
