The New York Police Department is currently looking for two male home invader suspects who allegedly dressed as Amazon workers before tying up a family and stealing roughly $16,000 worth of electronic devices and jewelry from the family’s home in Queens, New York, on Monday.

In a picture shared by The New York Post, both of the home invader suspects can be seen wearing baseball hats. One of the suspects can be seen with a yellow vest, while the other suspect can be seen carrying an Amazon box. The New York Post reported that the picture was captured as the two suspects walked down the Whitestone block in Queens on Monday morning.

According to The New York Post, law enforcement officials explained that the home invaders quickly rushed into a family’s home at roughly 7:40 a.m. on Monday after a 43-year-old man answered the door of his house on 12th Avenue near 152nd Street. The New York Post noted that one of the suspects was armed with a gun.

After entering the house, the two suspects forced the 43-year-old man, a 39-year-old woman, an 18-year-old woman, a 10-year-old boy, and a 5-year-old boy to go into the basement, according to The New York Post. The New York Post cited police officials who explained that the home invaders tied up the five victims and put duct tape over their mouths prior to stealing approximately $16,000 in electronic devices and jewelry from the family’s home.

According to The New York Post, police officials said the two suspects left the house in the family’s silver Chrysler minivan, which was found just two blocks away from the house.

NBC 4 reported that John Nardone, a neighbor of the victims, notified the police regarding the home invasion and robbery.

Nardone told NBC 4, “I’m just on my way to work, getting out of my car, and I just see this man running out of his house with duct tape on him so, I was like I have to help.”

“I was wondering if this was real, because of that,” Nardon told Freedom News. “I’ve never seen something like that, like a guy come out of his house with duct tape all over his face.”
