President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that he is going to “stop” the protesters who have been attacking Tesla dealerships across the country and confirmed that the attackers will be treated as domestic terrorists.

After purchasing a $90,000 Tesla vehicle in front of the White House on Tuesday as a show of support for Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who leads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Trump was asked by a reporter whether the individuals responsible for attacking Tesla dealerships across the country should be labeled “domestic terrorists.”

In response, Trump said, “I will do that. I’ll do it. I’m gonna stop ’em. We catch anybody doing it, because they’re harming a great American company.”

The 47th president explained that he not only supports Tesla but has previously shown his support and stood up for other American companies, such as the National Football League.

“When you hurt an American company, especially a company like this that supplies so many jobs, that others are unable to do. When you do that, those people are gonna go through a big problem when we catch them. We’ve got a lot of cameras up,” Trump said. “We already know who some of them are. We’re gonna catch them.”

Trump added, “And they’re bad guys. They’re the same guys that screw around with our schools and universities. The same garbage. No, we’re gonna catch ’em. And let me tell you, you do it to Tesla, you do it to any company, we’re gonna catch you, and you’re gonna go through hell.”

According to The Post Millennial, Telsa dealerships in Colorado, Massachusetts, New York, and Oregon have been attacked in recent months.

Following the Tesla showcase in front of the White House on Tuesday, the Trump administration released a pair of photos on social media. One picture showed Trump and Musk in front of a Tesla cybertruck with multiple other Tesla vehicles in the background, while the second picture showed the president and the Tesla CEO sitting inside one of the company’s vehicles. The White House’s caption to the photos read, “Get in, patriots—we have a country to save.”

The president also shared a video on X, formerly Twitter, of Musk announcing Tesla’s plan to expand its vehicle production in the United States under the Trump administration.

Musk told reporters, “As a function of the great policies of President Trump and his administration, and as an act of faith in America, Tesla is going to DOUBLE vehicle output in the United States within the next two years.”
