Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem revealed on Monday that her department has identified some of the individuals responsible for the recent leak of a memo regarding a “large-scale” Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid in the Los Angeles region. Noem also vowed to identify more leakers, saying, “We’re not here to play games.”

According to The Daily Caller, Noem previously indicated that “corrupt” Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents were responsible for a memo that was leaked to The Los Angeles Times ahead of a potential “large-scale” ICE raid near Los Angeles.

During a Monday interview, Fox News host Sean Hannity asked Noem for an update regarding the individuals responsible for the recent ICE leak.

“I have found some leakers. We are continuing to get more,” Noem said. “They will be fired. There will be consequences. And, remember, when they leak information to the press in order to blow an op, they are putting law enforcement lives in jeopardy. They are risking their lives and putting their families in the position where they have to live without those individuals any further.”

Noem told Hannity that the Department of Homeland Security has “used every tactic” available to identify the individuals responsible for the ICE leak, including polygraphs, reviewing employee emails, and reviewing other communications at the department.

“It’s amazing how these bureaucrats who have an agenda to stop the work that we’re doing to bring safety to America, how they will sell each other down the river if it’s just to protect themselves,” Noem said. “So don’t worry. I am doing everything to find these leakers and to get rid of them so that we can do our work and our law enforcement officers and agents can do it safely.”

Asked by Hannity whether it was a crime for U.S. government workers to be “tipping off gang members” prior to potential ICE raids and putting the lives of law enforcement officials “in jeopardy,” Noem said, “Absolutely, and when they are breaking the law, we are prosecuting and holding them accountable to it.”

“We’re not here to play games,” the DHS secretary added. “This is about America. Any law enforcement officer that serves and partners not only with the Department of Homeland Security, but partners with us, listen, we respect you. We honor the work that you do. We will take care of your family. We will take care of you. And we’ll go after those that threaten your lives by leaking this type of information.”
