A new video shows an Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist attack against an oil tanker last week in the Red Sea amid rising tension in the Middle East.

According to The Times of Israel, Houthi terrorists crashed an explosive-loaded drone into the Panama-flagged oil tanker Cordelia Moon on Tuesday, triggering an explosion that punctured one of the Cordelia Moon’s ballast tanks, which help control its buoyancy. The outlet noted that the attack occurred less than 100 miles from the Houthi’s position in Yemen.

The Daily Wire reported that a private security firm indicated that the oil tanker had armed security guards who attempted to shoot at the drone boat before it crashed into the ship.

Sharing a video of the Houthi terrorist attack on social media, Lucas Tomlinson, a Fox News correspondent, tweeted, “Iranian-backed Houthis attacked this commercial vessel in the Red Sea on the same day Iran launched its massive ballistic missile attack on Israel.”

The Times of Israel also reported that the Houthis conducted a missile attack against another ship last week as the ship was heading north toward the Suez Canal. According to The Times of Israel, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations identified the ship as the Minoan Courage, a Liberian-flagged bulk carrier vessel. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations confirmed the missile attack and noted that the vessel “sustained damage” in the attack but that all of the crew were “reported safe.”

In addition to the two recent Houthi attacks, Tomlinson reported that Houthi terrorists attacked U.S. Navy ships with dozens of missiles and drones on September 27 following Israel’s airstrike that killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

In a post on X, Tomlinson wrote, “Three U.S. Navy warships shot down nearly two dozen incoming missiles and drones launched by Iran’s rebel army in Yemen earlier today while transiting the narrow entrance to the Red Sea.”

Tomlinson cited anonymous U.S. officials who noted that no sailors were injured and no damage was sustained in the recent Houthi attack against U.S. Navy ships.

Tomlinson added, “A pair of guided-missile destroyers, the USS Stockdale and USS Spruance, along with a littoral combat ship, the USS Indianapolis, were transiting the Bab al-Mandab Strait when the American warships came under attack from a barrage of incoming ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones, the officials said.”
