On Saturday, Nov. 16, the Humane Solution Spay-Neuter Program will be hosting a veteran’s-only free pet vaccine and microchip clinic from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Kernersville VFW Post 5352.

Registration is required to attend the event and must be completed online at www.cognitoforms.com/humanesolution2/veteranappreciationevent.

The clinic will offer a variety of vaccines including rabies and distemper along with a free microchip.

Pets must be 12 weeks old and 4 pounds to be vaccinated for rabies. Pets must also be at least 8 weeks old for distemper vaccines and microchips.

To ensure the safety of the volunteers and patrons who will be attending the event, only well behaved and well socialized pets will be accepted.

The Humane Solution Spay-Neuter Program asks to not bring any pets that may bite, feral cats, or highly protective pets of their owners to the clinic.

To attend the event, you must have a veteran’s ID card or a DD214 to apply and be seen at the clinic.
