A new report claims that Israel may destroy Iran’s nuclear or oil facilities in response to Iran firing almost 200 ballistic missiles against Israel on Tuesday.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Iran notified Arab countries on Monday regarding its planned attack against Israel on Tuesday, which involved the firing of 181 ballistic missiles against the U.S. ally in the Middle East. The outlet said Israel warned Iran that it would respond to any attack against Israeli territory, regardless of whether the attack led to any casualties and that Israel threatened to “directly hit Iran’s nuclear or oil facilities.”
While Israel and the United States intercepted the majority of the ballistic missiles launched by Iran, some of the missiles did explode on Israeli soil. The Daily Wire reported that an assessment of the damage caused by Tuesday’s attack remains ongoing; however, Israeli and U.S. officials have indicated that Iran’s attack failed and that only one Palestinian man was killed as a result of the attack.
The Wall Street Journal cited an Israel Defense Forces official who told reporters that Israel will keep conducting “powerful strikes” in the Middle East region in response to Iran’s attack.

According to CNN, an anonymous Israeli official claimed that the country had a “significant response” planned following Iran’s unprecedented ballistic missile attack on Tuesday. The Israeli official noted that the damage that has previously been directed against Iran and its terrorist groups in the Middle East is “only a promo” for what Israel has planned next against Iran.
Following Tuesday’s attack against Israel that was thwarted by Israel and its allies, White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said, “We are proud of the actions that we’ve taken alongside Israel to protect and defend Israel. We have made clear that there will be consequences—severe consequences—for this attack, and we will work with Israel to make that the case.”
During a security cabinet meeting regarding Tuesday’s attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran “made a big mistake” and that Iran “will pay for it.” Netanyahu added, “The regime in Iran does not understand our determination to defend ourselves and our determination to retaliate against our enemies. They will understand. We will stand by the rule we established: whoever attacks us, we will attack him.”
