Antique military convoy hitting the streets of St. Joseph

The roads in St. Joseph will be active with antique military vehicles on Thursday evening.

The Military Vehicle Preservation Association will be driving the original 1918 route of the Jefferson Highway.

The original route spans over 2,500 miles, passing through St. Joseph throughout the drive.

Antique vehicles can be seen driving a long the Belt Highway on their way to the Hy-Vee parking lot.

The convoy is expected to arrive in the Hy-Vee parking lot around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday evening.

People are able to come out and see the convoy and learn about the various use of the vehicles in the military throughout the years.
