A new report claims that Haitian immigrants are eating residents’ pets and wildlife in Springfield, Ohio, leading residents to warn each other to protect their pets.
“Springfield Ohio residents are warning their pets and wildlife like ducks and geese are being eaten by Haitians,” The Calvin Coolidge Project wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter. “One neighbor said she saw her cat being carved up by the Haitians. Another neighbor said a police officer told her this is happening to dogs, ducks and geese.”
The Calvin Coolidge Project shared a picture of a Haitian immigrant carrying a goose as he walks down the street alongside a screenshot of a recent warning by a Springfield, Ohio, resident.
“Warning to all about our beloved pets & those around us!! My neighbor informed me that her daughters friend had lost her cat,” the warning stated. “She checked pages, kennels, asked around, etc. One day she came home from work, as soon as she stepped out of her car, looked towards a neighbors house, where Haitians live, & saw her cat banging from a branch, like you’d do a deer for butchering, & they were carving it up to eat.”

The resident claimed that the Haitian immigrants were allegedly doing the same thing to pet dogs. Additionally, the resident said local police and rangers had warned that the Haitian immigrants were butchering and eating ducks and geese from a local park. “Please keep a close eye on these animals,” the resident warned community members.
Sharing the same warning on social media, End Wokeness tweeted, “Springfield is a small town in Ohio. 4 years ago, they had 60k residents. Under Harris and Biden, 20,000 Haitian immigrants were shipped to the town. Now ducks and pets are disappearing.”
A video shared by media personality Benny Johnson appears to show law enforcement officials confronting a Haitian woman after she allegedly killed a resident’s cat and started to eat it.
The Daily Mail reported that Springfield’s population declined from 80,000 in 1960 to 60,000 by 2014 due to the departure of car factories and other companies. However, the town was able to attract new industries and create roughly 8,000 new jobs by 2020.
According to The Daily Mail, the need for more workers eventually attracted a significant population of Haitian immigrants who legally entered the United States.
Your News reported that over 20,000 Haitian immigrants have relocated to Springfield since 2020, significantly increasing the town’s population and leading to tension in the community, especially given the recent reports of Haitian immigrants killing and eating residents’ pets and local wildlife.
