A new report from a California county supervisor claims that the Biden-Harris administration is flying illegal immigrants from San Diego to Texas since the Democratic city’s Border Patrol facilities are currently at maximum capacity due to the unprecedented level of illegal immigration under the Biden-Harris administration.
In a recent post on X, formerly Twitter, San Diego County District 5 Supervisor Jim Desmond shared pictures of an airplane that he said is used repeatedly to transport illegal immigrants from San Diego, California, to McAllen, Texas. Desmond claimed that the illegal immigrants are flown from the San Diego Airport to Texas after Border Patrol agents transport illegal immigrants from the border to the sanctuary state.
“You may see this plane next time you’re at the San Diego Airport,” Desmond tweeted. “Every other day, this plane transports migrants from San Diego to McAllen, Texas, because Border Patrol facilities in San Diego are over capacity. Here’s how the process works: Migrants surrender to Border Patrol agents, are taken to a processing center, placed on a bus, and then flown to Texas – all on your dime.”
Desmond added, “The border is still being overwhelmed, yet this administration continues to allow thousands into this country, further straining our resources and security.”
Desmond told Texas Scorecard that as a sanctuary state, California’s illegal immigrant processing facilities are completely full and cannot provide adequate space for the number of illegal immigrants continuing to pour into the United States across the southern border.
“Because of that, Border Patrol agents are flying migrants to other places in the country—predominantly to Texas,” the county supervisor explained.

According to The Post Millennial, San Diego has turned to alternative housing options in light of Border Patrol facilities being completely full. The outlet noted that the city has even used taxpayer funding to house illegal immigrants in hotels.
The Post Millennial reported that the city also used the San Diego Airport as a temporary holding center for over 300 illegal immigrants last November.
