An audio recording from a 911 dispatch call on Monday night reveals that an armed group of 32 Venezuelan nationals reportedly took control of a Chicago apartment building.

In the audio recording from Monday night’s incident, a 911 dispatcher can be heard saying, “Caller says 32 Venezuelans are trespassing the building, showing guns in the courtyard, and they have motorcycles in the courtyard as well.”

According to News Drum, multiple reports indicated that the armed Venezuelan gang trespassed at a Chicago apartment building, intimidated multiple residents, and potentially succeeded in taking over the building.

Sharing the audio in a post on X, formerly Twitter, Libs of TikTok wrote, “A group of 32 armed Venezualans took over an apartment building in Chicago tonight. Here’s the audio of the 911 dispatch call.”

Libs of TikTok also compared the incident with the recent illegal immigrant gang activity in Aurora, Colorado, adding, “First they did this in Aurora, CO and now Chicago? Which city will be next? This invasion happened on Kamala’s watch.”

According to Shore News Network, while no video has been released from Monday’s incident in Chicago, local authorities confirmed that law enforcement officials responded to the 911 audio dispatch that was released online. News Drum confirmed that law enforcement officials responded to the scene of the incident at 6124 S. King Drive, where the apartment building was reportedly taken over by Venezuelan gang members.

While the authenticity of the audio recording was confirmed by local authorities, News Drum noted that law enforcement officials had not revealed what actions were taken by the police or what the status of the apartment building was as of Tuesday morning. Information regarding any arrests or injuries sustained during Monday night’s incident has also not yet been disclosed by Chicago officials.

Monday’s incident comes after authorities warned last week that Tren de Aragua, a gang of illegal immigrants from Venezuela, had reportedly taken control of parts of Aurora, Colorado.

A video shared by Raws Alerts reportedly showed an armed gang of Venezuelan illegal immigrants taking “full control of an apartment complex and parts of the town of Aurora.”
