Pop star Pink has thrown in the towel on at least one Summer Carnival Tour stop, citing the advice of her doctors.
The day before the Grammy winning singer/songwriter was set to headline Stadion Wankdorf in Bern, Switzerland, she announced the show’s cancellation due to an unspecified health issue.
“I am so sorry that I have had to cancel my show in Bern this Wednesday,” she wrote on Instagram Tuesday. “I do everything I can to ensure I can perform for you every night, but after consultation with my doctor and exploring all options available, I’ve been advised that I’m unable to continue with the show tomorrow.”
Known for her gravity-defying stage performances and live vocal prowess, the 44-year-old mother of two added she was “disappointed” about the missed date.
“Sending love and health to you all, and I really hope to see you again soon,” she concluded her post, noting that all purchased tickets will be refunded.
The “Get the Party Started” singer’s next tour date is booked for Copenhagen on Saturday. She’s also scheduled to hit Amsterdam, Brussels, Stockholm and three cities in Germany throughout July. It’s unknown if her current health condition will impact any of those performances.
On Aug. 10, the Summer Carnival Tour is set to kick off in North America with a show in St. Louis.
