The Republican National Committee (RNC)’s “Protect the Vote” initiative is working to train voters across the country to ensure that the 2024 election is fair and secure. The RNC’s latest “Protect the Vote” event trained hundreds of voters in Tampa Bay, Florida, on Thursday.
According to The Post Millennial, the RNC’s “Protect the Vote” event in Tampa Bay featured RNC Chairman Michael Whatley, RNC Co-chairwoman Lara Trump, Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.), Florida GOP Chairman Evan Power, and former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi. The event provided hundreds of voters with information regarding the Republican Party’s efforts to ensure that the 2024 election remains fair and transparent.
The “Protect the Vote” initiative aims to recruit 100,000 volunteers across the United States to serve as poll workers, poll watchers, and legal experts.
“We can never repeat 2020 and that election ever again,” Lara Trump said at Thursday’s event. “We are going to work overtime all the way up until November 5 to ensure that we have a free, fair, and transparent election so that every single person in this country – no matter if you’re voting Republican, Democrat, or third-party candidate – when you go vote as an American citizen you should feel like your vote matters and your vote counts.”
According to a press release, the RNC’s “Protect the Vote Tour” launched in Michigan on June 14, followed by events in Georgia, North Carolina, and Nevada. Each of the battleground states is expected to play a crucial role in deciding the 2024 election.

An anonymous volunteer poll worker told The Post Millennial that the RNC’s efforts to preserve the fairness and transparency of the 2024 election is essential to winning the election.
“I love what they are doing and I’m thrilled to be involved,” the volunteer said. “It’s very important to protect the vote. Trump is the only one who can lead our country and it’s imperative we the people get him elected. No more cheating. It’s all hands on deck.”
According to The Post Millennial, Whatley emphasized the importance of the 2024 election and encouraged Thursday’s Florida attendees to support former President Donald Trump’s campaign. As part of the RNC’s effort to secure a win for the former president, Whately said, “Every dollar we raise is going to be spent on two things: We’re going to get out the vote and we’re going to protect the ballot.”
“This is not election denialism, these are not conspiracy theories,” Whatley added. “These are basic protections that we want to safeguard our elections and they’re supported by 75 to 80 percent of all voters, whether they’re Republican, Democrat, or Independent.”
