Police sources claim that President Joe Biden experienced an “emergency situation” in Las Vegas last week prior to the announcement that the president had contracted COVID-19.
In a statement on X, formerly Twitter, Turning Point USA CEO Charlie Kirk cited a source close to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department that contradicted the “official story” of Biden’s Nevada trip being cut short last week due to COVID-19.
On Monday, Kirk wrote, “According to this source, US Secret Service informed LV Metro that there was an emergency situation involving Joe Biden and to close necessary streets so that POTUS could be transported immediately to University Medical, which they began to do in earnest.”
“Then, mysteriously, there was a stand-down order and the USSS informed local Vegas PD that they were going to ‘medivac’ POTUS to Johns Hopkins, which they presumed meant fly him back east ASAP,” Kirk added. “Apparently, the rumor mill in the police department was that Joe Biden was dying or possibly already dead.”
The Turning Point USA CEO later shared that he had received multiple emails confirming the source’s information. Kirk explained that after hearing from an “overwhelming number of stories corroborating essentially the same account,” he was comfortable sharing the report that “a call went out to block streets to get Biden to University Medical trauma center ASAP, and then the plan abruptly changed and they got him out on AF1 very quickly.”

Jordan Schachtel, an investigative journalist, later obtained accounts of the story from multiple law enforcement officers in Biden’s security detail, as well as other sources with knowledge of the story. According to The Dossier, law enforcement officials were notified over encrypted police airwaves that Biden was suffering from an unspecified medical emergency during a stop at the Lindo Michoacan Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas.
Anonymous sources indicated that “easily” hundreds of Las Vegas Metropolitan officers and other employees received the alert. The sources claimed that a “surge” of law enforcement resources was then requested to aid Biden’s quick departure from the restaurant.
The Dossier claimed that the initial plan was to transport Biden to the University Medical Center, which was located two miles from his location, and that emergency squads were deployed to clear a path to the hospital. KSNV reported last week that the University Medical Center was on standby after it was alerted to a potential medical issue with the president.
However, the Dossier reported that plans quickly changed and that Biden’s security detail was deployed to clear a route to Harry Reid International Airport to transport the president back east. The anonymous officers told The Dossier that the entire situation was handled as a medical emergency, leading many to doubt whether a positive COVID-19 test would result in such urgency.
The president has not appeared publicly since he disembarked from Air Force One in Delaware.
