A small plane crashed Friday morning in Arvada, police said.
Initial reports from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office indicated the plane crashed in a neighborhood southeast of Standley Lake around 9:30 a.m. Friday.
Minutes later, the Arvada Police Department narrowed the landing site to a neighborhood in the area Oberon Road and Carr Street in a social media statement.
A later X.com message from the department reported that two adults and two children were taken to hospitals with injuries.
Arvada fire crews are responding to a structure fire associated with the crash and multiple reported injuries, fire department spokesperson Deanna Harrington said.
No additional information on the pilot, extent of injuries or type of plane was immediately available.
