A new report claims that young staff members in President Joe Biden’s administration secretly exchange text messages referring to former President Donald Trump as “Hitler Pig.”

After Maggie Haberman, a reporter for The New York Times, wrote that Trump appeared “to be sleeping” during Monday’s court proceedings in New York City, one individual commented, “Hitler Pig sleepy.”

Four anonymous sources inside the president’s political circle told Politico’s West Wing Playbook that the nickname “Hitler Pig” is something that young Biden aides and other young staff members have repeatedly used privately to describe the former president.

Politico noted that a Google search of the nickname “Hitler Pig” reveals images of Trump as a pig with a swastika armband. The outlet suggested that the nickname could have originated online before being used by young staff members in the Biden administration.

The four anonymous sources told Politico that the “Hitler Pig” nickname was adopted in 2022 after Trump had dinner with Nick Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago. According to Politico, Fuentes is a self-proclaimed white nationalist and allegedly a Holocaust denier.

While the Biden administration claimed that Trump’s dinner with Fuentes suggested that he accepted his controversial beliefs, Trump claimed that Fuentes had not been invited to Mar-a-Lago but that he had come along with rapper Kanye West during a visit to Mar-a-Lago. The former president also emphasized that his beliefs “wouldn’t have been accepted” if he had discussed them, according to The Post Millennial.

According to Politico, since Trump’s dinner with Fuentes and West, young Biden aides will privately text each other, “Hey, did you see what Hitler Pig said?” whenever Trump references Hitler or World War II Germans.

In a statement to Politico following Thursday’s report, Brian Hughes, a senior adviser to the Trump campaign, said, “Joe Biden talks a lot about decency, but he and his staff don’t have a decent bone in their bodies. These ridiculous and gross comments reflect the failure and dishonesty of the entire Biden operation.”

Chris LaCivita, who is also an adviser to the Trump campaign, released a statement Wednesday on X, formerly Twitter, criticizing Politico’s story. LaCivita said that while Politico thinks it is funny that Biden staffers use the term “Hitler Pig” to describe Trump, “It’s actually more a representation of what a rag they’ve become and the level of sh–t that works in the White House.”
