A new report claims that Hunter Biden appeared to confirm during his six-hour impeachment inquiry deposition on Wednesday that President Joe Biden was “the big guy” mentioned in an email about a Chinese business deal in 2017.

Following Hunter Biden’s closed-door deposition to the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday, U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) told Breitbart, “At one point, we asked Hunter about the 10% for the ‘big guy.'” She added, “We showed him the email … And he said, ‘Oh, that was after my father left office.'”

The New York Post reported that Hunter Biden’s comments appear to confirm the story the outlet first reported on over three years ago when it claimed that a Hunter Biden business email regarding a Chinese-linked energy firm referenced Joe Biden as “the big guy.”

Greene also told Breitbart that Hunter Biden denied claims that Joe Biden received a 10% stake in the Chinese-linked company as a result of the $5 million business deal. Greene noted that when Hunter Biden was asked about the 10% stake, he said, “What’s wrong with having a pie-in-the-sky idea?” Greene said Hunter Biden claimed that he believed his father “was done” with public office after Trump was inaugurated in 2017 and that he “could be in the business.”

Greene added, “Hunter said, ‘When it came down to the agreement that we signed,’ he said, ‘there was no percentage for my father in the business.'”

The New York Post reported that Greene’s account of Hunter Biden’s Wednesday deposition marks the first time the president’s son has admitted that his former business partner James Gilliar was using the term “the big guy” in reference to Joe Biden. According to The New York Post, Gilliar’s email suggestion that Hunter Biden hold a 10% state in CEFC China Energy “for the big guy” occurred on May 13, 2017.

Following Wednesday’s deposition, Greene also told Breitbart that Hunter Biden was asked about the roughly 20 times he allegedly had Joe Biden on speakerphone while talking with foreign business partners. “He was saying it’s totally normal for your parents to call you,” Greene told Breitbart. “He just totally kept on saying, ‘Oh, this is normal. This is normal.'”
