A teenage girl’s car flipped on a Tampa highway over the weekend. Then Hulk Hogan showed up.
TMZ reported that the WWE Hall of Fame wrestler, whose real name is Terry Bollea, sprung into action Sunday night to help free the 17-year-old driver.
According to Fox 13 News, the Tampa Police Department said the crash happened on the Veterans Expressway at exit 2A toward Clearwater. A car swerved across several lanes of traffic towards the exit, clipping another vehicle in the process and sending it tumbling.
“Last night, after we left dinner in Tampa, we saw a car flip in front of us!” posted Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily, on Facebook. “I truly admire my husband @hulkhogan and our good buddy @jakerask for springing into action, puncturing the girls airbag, and getting her quickly out of the car. By all appearances, she was unscathed, just really rattled, which is an absolute miracle!”
Hogan tweeted he and friend Jake Rask used an Indian Rocks Christian school ballpoint pen to pierce the airbags and free the teen from her vehicle.
“Thank you God, all is well even now,” he tweeted. “Amen HH.”
All in a day’s work, brother.
