Bulgaria has issued a European arrest warrant for six Russian citizens accused of involvement in the destruction of arms factories and warehouses between 2011 and 2020, the prosecutor’s office said on January 30.
It did not release their names. The first object was destroyed in Lovnidol in 2011, followed by two in the village of Iganovo in 2015, and one near Maglizh was blown up in 2020.
The prosecutor’s office announced a joint investigation into the four bombings in 2021. In a new revelation, the prosecutor’s office said it was investigating the participation of Bulgarians in the blasts.
