15-year-old boy dies, man critically injured in Chesapeake triple shooting

A 15-year-old boy was killed in a shooting in Chesapeake, and two men were injured.

Police responded to a report of an injured person around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. Police arrived at the 1300 block of Mac Donald Road, near Indian River Road and South Military Highway, and found three people with gunshot wounds.

All three were taken to a hospital, where the teen died of his injuries. One man is in critical condition. The second man was treated for injuries considered not to be life-threatening, according to police.

The homicide is under investigation. Police did not release further information but encouraged anyone with knowledge of the shooting to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip at p3tips.com.
