A new report claims the United States Coast Guard suspects a second recent landing of illegal immigrants on the beaches of Malibu, California.

According to photos first obtained by the Daily Wire, the remains of a panga boat were found on the shore of Malibu on Tuesday morning and remained until Wednesday morning. The Daily Wire reported that panga boats are often used for human smuggling operations.

The remains of the panga boat were discovered in the Latigo Shores region of Malibu, which is located near some of the most expensive U.S. properties.

A video posted Wednesday on X, formerly Twitter, by The Daily Wire’s Spencer Lindquist shows the remains of the panga boat on the beaches of Malibu.

Lindquist also shared a photo of what appear to be multiple “gas canisters” that were found on the same beach. The photo also shows part of the panga boat’s motor, which appears to have been broken during the suspected “migrant landing.”

According to The Daily Wire, Malibu is a wealthy beachfront community located more than 100 miles from the southern border between the United States and Mexico. The United States Census Bureau shows that Malibu currently has roughly 10,000 residents. Additionally, the community houses the students of Pepperdine University.

A representative from the Coast Guard told The Daily Wire that the Coast Guard is investigating the remains of the boat in Malibu as a “possible migrant landing.” Additionally, a Malibu and Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station told The Daily Wire that the incident had been reported to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.

The video footage obtained by The Daily Wire comes after a recent video obtained by Fox News showed illegal immigrants attempting to evade law enforcement after landing on a beach in Malibu near the homes of U.S. celebrities. According to The New York Post, roughly 25 illegal immigrants were involved in the first “migrant landing” incident in Malibu. At the time of the report, federal law enforcement officials were still searching for the illegal immigrants.
