Jamie Foxx says he’s on the road to feeling like himself again after the “unexpected dark journey” that landed him in the hospital earlier this year.

The Oscar-winning “Ray” star, 55, took to Instagram Wednesday night with a carousel of photos of himself looking positively tranquil in a white tee, crocheted bucket hat, and aviator sunglasses.

“You’re looking at a man who is thankful…finally startin to feel like myself,” Foxx wrote. “It’s been an unexpected dark journey… but I can see the light.”

He then extended his gratitude to those who have reached out to him with “well wishes and prayers,” saying no one knows how much it truly all meant.

“I will be thanking all of you personally… and if you didn’t know… GOD IS GOOD… all day every day,” he added.

The comments section on Foxx’s post brought in even more love, including supportive messages from famous friends like Octavia Spencer, Jeremy Renner, and Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Lawson.

“I, along with the world, pray for you regularly,” wrote Lawson, who referred to herself as “mama Tina.”

“You are such a special man, such a gift to the world of entertainment. God bless you,” she continued.

While it remains unclear what in particular led to Foxx’s weekslong hospitalization in April, he has dropped hints about the severity of his medical battle.

Foxx has attributed his rebound to younger sister Deidra Dixon, noting in an Instagram post earlier this month that had she “not made the decisions that [she] made,” he may have “lost [his] life.”

Foxx, who only publicly resurfaced in early July, finally spoke later that month about his still-unspecified illness.

“I went through something that I thought I would never ever go through,” he revealed, while keeping the exact details of his condition under wraps. “I went to hell and back. And my road to recovery had some potholes as well. But I’m coming back.”
