Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), House Oversight and Accountability Committee chairman, announced Wednesday that the committee has identified more than $20 million in foreign payments to the Biden family and the family’s business associates.
According to the House Oversight Committee, a third release of bank records outlines new information that the committee obtained as part of its investigation into the Biden family’s alleged corruption.
The newly released bank record memorandum details how the Biden family and the family’s business partners received millions of dollars from Russian, Kazakhstan, and Ukrainian oligarchs while President Joe Biden was serving as vice president to then-President Barack Obama.
According to the committee, Joe Biden had dinner with Hunter Biden’s foreign business associates in Washington, D.C., after Hunter Biden was paid millions of dollars.
The committee’s press release noted that Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Devon Archer, recently provided testimony claiming that Joe Biden was “the brand” that was used to increase the wealth of the Biden family.
“During Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as ‘the brand’ to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine,” Comer stated. “It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself. And Hunter Biden seems to have delivered.”
One foreign payment released Wednesday by Comer and the House Oversight and Accountability Committee outlines how a Russian oligarch sent a $3.5 million payment to a shell company that was associated with Hunter Biden and Archer.

Bank records obtained by the committee show that a Ukrainian oligarch put both Hunter Biden and Archer on the Burisma board of directors in 2014 for a payment to each of them for $1 million each year.
Additionally, in 2014, a bank account used by Hunter Biden and Archer was wired a payment from a Kazakhstani oligarch that matched the “exact price” of Biden’s sports car.
The House Oversight and Accountability Committee also released information claiming that Joe Biden had dinner with business associates from Yelena Baturina, Kenes Rakishev, and Burisma in 2014 and 2015 after Hunter Biden was paid millions of dollars.
“Then-Vice President Joe Biden dined with oligarchs from around the world who had sent money to his son,” Comer said. “It’s clear Joe Biden knew about his son’s business dealings and allowed himself to be ‘the brand’ sold to enrich the Biden family while he was Vice President of the United States.”
In light of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee’s recent discoveries, Comer vowed that House Republicans will “follow the money trail and obtain witness testimony” to discover “whether foreign actors targeted the Bidens, President Biden is compromised or corrupt, and our national security is threatened.”
