President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, used his dad’s political power to threaten a Chinese businessman linked to the Chinese Communist Party during negotiations over a six-figure agreement while Joe Biden was in the room, according to IRS whistleblower testimony.
“I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled,” Hunter allegedly wrote in a WhatsApp message to Henry Zhao on July 30, 2017. “Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction.”
“I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father,” Hunter reiterated, referring to now-President Joe Biden.
The text was part of whistleblower testimony from IRS supervisory agent Gary Shapley, who recently revealed the message to the House Ways and Means Committee.
Multiple whistleblowers said a search warrant executed in August 2020 unveiled the threatening message between Hunter and Zhao, which ultimately led to a $100,000 payment to Hunter’s firm Owasco P.C.
Shapley noted that Zhao, president and CEO of Harvest Fund Management, has connections to the Chinese Communist Party
Additionally, President Biden’s Justice Department, FBI and IRS interfered in the Hunter Biden tax evasion investigation, two IRS whistleblowers warned
“The allegations point to a steady campaign of: unequal treatment of enforcing tax law; Department of Justice (DOJ) interference in the form of delays, divulgences, and denials, into the investigation of tax crimes that may have been committed by the President’s son; and finally, retaliation against IRS employees who blew the whistle on the misconduct,” the committee said.
