A candy thief pulled out a gun and opened fire at a downtown Manhattan 7-Eleven early Sunday, police said.
The sweet-toothed shooter walked into the store on Church St. near Park Place, about a block away from City Hall, at about 5 a.m., cops said.
He tried to steal some candy, and when a worker tried to stop him, he pulled out a gun, police said.
The worker fled into the store bathroom and locked the door, and as the crook was walking out, he turned around and fired a shot into the store, cops said.
No one was injured by the bullet, police said. Cops were still looking for the shooter Sunday.
