A chilling scene unfolded last week in Ohio as 32-year-old Chad Doerman was arrested for the alleged execution-style murder of his three sons, ages three, four and seven.
According to The Police Tribune, Footage from the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office bodycams showed officers responding to the frantic 911 call placed by the boys’ 34-year-old mother, stating her “babies had been shot.”
Another report came from a passerby who saw a juvenile girl alerting others on the street about the terrifying ordeal unfolding at the house.
Arriving deputies found Doerman sitting on his front steps with a rifle beside him, unmoving and seemingly indifferent, while his sons’ lifeless bodies lay nearby on the lawn.
Deputies arrested Doerman at the scene. He maintained he wasn’t under any influence, stating, “I ain’t trying to hurt nobody. I’m completely sober. Never did drugs a day in my life.”
Horrific details of the triple homicide emerged during a hearing before Clermont County Municipal Court Judge Jason Nagel.
Assistant Prosecutor David Gast laid out the chilling account, “In an act of incomprehensible cruelty, the father that stands before you lined up his three young boys and executed them in his own home with a rifle.”

Reports further allege that when one of the boys momentarily escaped, Doerman “hunted that boy down, brought him back to the property and executed him in front of witnesses.”
The children’s mother also sustained injuries to her hand during an attempt to wrestle the firearm from Doerman.
Clermont County Prosecutor Mark Tekulve expressed his shock at the horrific crime, stating, “This is by far the most sickening, horrifying crime I have seen. I can only imagine the terror that these little boys felt and experienced as their father… their protector was murdering them.”
Doerman has since been charged with three counts of aggravated murder and is being held on a $20 million bond in the Clermont County Jail, according to Fox News.
The alleged premeditated nature of the crime came to light during the court proceedings with documents revealing Doerman “confessed to planning and carrying out” his sons’ murders over several months; however, an official motive has not yet been released.
“This is by far the most sickening, horrifying crime I have seen,” Clermont County Prosecutor Mark Tekulve said after the incident. “I can only imagine the terror that these little boys felt and experienced as their father… their protector was murdering them.”
Amid the trauma and shock, a fundraiser to assist the grieving mother has amassed over $261,000 at the time of reporting. The juvenile girl, witnessed running from the scene, has been found and is safe.
