A fight broke out among protesters demonstrating outside the Manhattan Courthouse on Tuesday ahead of former-President Donald Trump’s anticipated arraignment.

Video of the scene shows a woman in a red MAGA hat attempting to pick up a massive banner emblazoned with the words “TRUMP LIES ALL THE TIME.” Other protesters start pulling the banner away from the woman as someone yells, “You’re on the wrong side!”

“BREAKING: MASSIVE banner displayed in front of Manhattan Courthouse reading “Trump Lies All the Time” prompts a fight between those gathered in front #TrumpIndictment,” one Twitter user wrote.

Independent journalist Savanah Hernandez described the scene outside the courthouse as an  “absolute madhouse” where “One side is holding pro-Trump protesters, the other side holding anti-Trump.”

In another video, a member of the press is seeing grabbing a man and pushing him through a crowd while yelling in his face, “Don’t f-ck with me! Don’t ever f-ck with me!”

After the pair is separated, the member of the press turns back toward the other man and says, “I will kill your motherf-cking [inaudible].”

A grand jury in Manhattan, New York, voted to indict former-President Donald Trump on Thursday. The indictment stems from a case centering on Trump’s alleged 2016 attempts to buy the silence of adult film star Stormy Daniels.

This is the first time in American history that a former president will face criminal charges. Because the charges have been filed under seal, it is unclear what the charges will be.

Trump’s re-election campaign announced on Sunday that the former president will deliver a public address at 8:15 p.m. EDT at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, just hours after his anticipated arrest.

This was a breaking news story. The details were periodically updated as more information became available.
