A Utah man who was seen on fire while walking on the UC Berkeley campus last week has died from his injuries, authorities said.

The San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man Tuesday as Chet Bohrer, 42, of Salt Lake City. He was not a student at the school, according to UC Berkeley officials.

The scene played out about 4:15 p.m. March 1 in the area of Bancroft Way and Telegraph Avenue.

One person was hospitalized after trying to help the man and put out the flames. Authorities have not specified how serious that person’s injuries were or updated their condition.

Police have not released any additional details about the incident. A video of the incident taken by a witness to the scene has been viewed thousands of times.
