Georgia is apparently not on President Joe Biden’s mind.

For the second straight year, it appears the University of Georgia football team will not be making the customary trip to Washington, D.C.. Despite the Bulldogs having captured the past two National Championships, they were not granted the celebratory invitation to the White House, as is typically awarded to American championship winners.

Georgia dominated TCU in a 65-7 win last month to claim its second straight crown.

Coach Kirby Smart and company could not make the trip after defeating Alabama in the title game last year due to the pandemic. President Biden later hosted the World Series champion Atlanta Braves last September.

Former President Donald Trump previously hosted the LSU Tigers football team after they won the National Championship in January of 2020.

Nevertheless, the invite is reportedly not on the table for the Bulldogs again this year.

According to Sports Illustrated, Georgia Senators Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock signed a request to have the back-to-back National Champions hosted by the White House. The Bulldogs are the first team in the history of the College Football Playoff to win in consecutive years.

Some members of the program took to Twitter to voice their displeasure.

Warren Brinson, a junior defensive lineman, called it “crazy” that the team wasn’t invited.

No invite to the White House is crazy@POTUS
