“Arthropolooza: The Ultimate Bugfest,” an annual festival celebrating only the creepiest and crawliest of creatures, opened Saturday, Feb. 18, in Redlands.
Live insects and bug-themed activities kept San Bernardino County Museum visitors busy as bees Saturday. The festival continues 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the museum, located at 2024 Orange Tree Lane in Redlands, before moving to the High Desert in March.
The Wildlands Conservatory, California Native Plant Society, Bee Rooted and others were scheduled to share with visitors at the festival, according to a county museum news release.
Visitors who can’t make it need not bug out — Bugfest continue 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 4 at the Victor Valley Museum, 1873 Apple Valley Road in Apple Valley.
The fee for admission is $10 for adults, $8 for military members and seniors, $7 for students, $5 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children under 5 and museum members.
