Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has predicted a civil war in the U.S. concluding with Tesla CEO Elon Musk emerging as the new president.
Medvedev posted this 2023 prediction on his personal Twitter and Telegram accounts, along with more 2023 predictions of a war between France and Germany, and Britain rejoining the EU, leading to its collapse.
CEO of Tesla and now Twitter, Elon Musk, responded to Medvedev’s suggestions by tweeting, “Epic thread!!” Musk also criticized some of the former president’s predictions. Medvedev has previously given praise to the Twitter CEO for his proposal of a peace plan to involve the ceding of some territory to Russia.
According to Yahoo Finance, since Russia’s Feb. 24, 2022 invasion of Ukraine, the former Russian president has rebranded himself as an “arch-hawk.” Medvedev has framed the conflict in religious and apocalyptic terms, referring to Ukrainians as “cockroaches,” language perceived by the government of Ukraine as calls for genocide.
