Video of a violent brawl inside an Austin, Texas Waffle House has gone viral this week, garnering more than 3 million views on Twitter since it was posted on December 22.

In the video, a Waffle House employee appears to tell a group of customers that they should leave the restaurant. Shortly thereafter, two customers aggressively approach the counter separating the employees from the customers. One of the customers also briefly climbs on the counter.

As the customers shout at one female employee, the employee throws a glass coffee pot at them. The pot strikes a chair and shatters.

The customers and employees then throw multiple items at each other as one of the customers climbs over the counter and falls on the ground in the employee section. One employee starts repeatedly punching the customer who has entered the employee area.

More customers and employees eventually join the brawl behind the counter. Several customers and employees also attempt to break up the fight.

As the fight appears to be winding down, a customer hurls a metal chair at a female employee, who snatches it out of the air and throws it to the ground.

“White girl said what!” one witness comments.

“Yo, chill, you about to go to jail. Chill. Ya’ll about to go to jail. You wildin’,” another onlooker says as one customer can be seen threatening the employee with another chair.

Many Twitter users commented on the viral video, including comedian Brad Williams, who jokingly compared Waffle House employees to U.S. troops.

“The US Military has many branches defending our country
Army
Navy
Marines
Air Force
Waffle House Employees,” Williams tweeted.

Another Twitter user, Tony Peric, shared a remix of the viral video in which he compares one female Waffle House employee to “The Avengers.”
