Two buses carrying illegal immigrants from the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas arrived near Vice President Kamala Harris’ Washington, D.C. home on Thursday just days after Harris insisted the border is secure. Two planes full of illegal immigrants also arrived in the elite Martha’s Vineyard after departing Florida on Wednesday.

BREAKING: The Death Ray is here – and the US military has it

The buses were filled with up to 100 illegal immigrants from Venezuela, Uruguay, Colombia, and Mexico who were picked up in Eagle Pass, Texas, Fox News reported. Multiple illegal immigrants told the outlet that they believe the border is open, contradicting Harris’ recent comments that the border is secure.

“The border is open. Everybody believes that the border is open. It’s open because we enter. We come in, free, no problem,” one illegal immigrant said, later adding, “We came illegally.”

Marla Bustillos of the non-governmental organization Sanctuary DMV told Fox that a church and a “safe location” was established for the illegal immigrants.

“I was surprised to see [the press] here before we could get here. So the press knew the location before we did, some of the volunteers… it’s very frustrating,” Bustillos said. “We’re gonna make it happen, but it takes a lot of resources, a lot of effort.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ office confirmed to Fox News Digital that he sent two planes carrying 50 illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, an island in Massachusetts beloved by Washington, D.C. elites like former President Barack Obama, who has an $11.75 million waterfront house on nearly 30 acres on the island.

“Yes, Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha’s Vineyard today were part of the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations,” said Taryn Fenske, the governor’s communications director.

“States like Massachusetts, New York and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as ‘sanctuary states’ and support for the Biden administration’s open border policies,” she added.

Multiple Democrat state representatives in Massachusetts decried the move, calling it “deeply disgusting,” “inhumane,” and “evil,” the MV Times reported. The criticism comes after Massachusetts declared itself a “sanctuary state” for illegal immigrants, according to the Center for Immigration Studies.
