An early Sunday morning shooting in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood left two people dead, including a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, according to WCVB.

The news station reported that the family of Tefan Ivy, 29-year-old Marine Corps veteran, confirmed that he was one of the people fatally shot during the Sunday morning Dorchester shooting.
At about 3 a.m. on Sunday, a Boston Police Department spokesperson said officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 26 Melbourne St. in Dorchester.
Upon arrival, officers located three adult male victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. One victim was pronounced deceased on the scene, a second victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased, and the third victim was transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Ivy was one of the two people who died in connection with the shooting, his family told WCVB that he leaves behind his 4-year-old daughter.
