Author Gordon Chang slammed the Chinese Communist Party as “history’s most dangerous ruling group” in a scathing tweet that also called for the United States to end its relationship with China.

“It’s time to end our decades-long relationship with history’s most dangerous ruling group, the #CCP. #China,” Chang tweeted on June 27.

Chang, who authored “The Great U.S.-China Tech War” and “The Coming Collapse of China,” frequently expresses opposition to the Chinese Communist Party and urges American lawmakers to sever ties with the adversary nation.

He repeated his call for severed ties on Tuesday in a tweet that said, “#XiJinping is demanding that #China become self-sufficient. Because he rejects dependency on us, we cannot remain dependent on him. We must cut ties with China as fast as we can.”

Chang also tweeted a dire warning earlier this month that the United States will cease to exist if Americans “don’t now mobilize against the CCP.”

“We must pay any price and bear any burden to protect our society from the infiltration and subversion of #China’s regime. We’re not going to have a country if we don’t now mobilize against the #CCP,” Chang tweeted.

During an July 9 appearance on Fox News, Chang said Secretary of State Antony Blinken needs to be tougher on China.

“Blinken has never been as tough as he’s needed to be with the Chinese. The reality is, this week, China has had a frigate in Japanese territorial waters in the East China Sea around the islands of Senkakus,” he said.

“They’ve also had their planes buzzing through Japanese airspace. In the South China Sea this week, they’ve had two of those large Coast Guard vessels blocking the resupply, the Philippine outpost in Second Thomas Shoal. That’s the reality. It’s military force that the Chinese are using,” he continued. “And when [Chinese foreign minister] Wang Yi talks about cooperation, he’s lying through his teeth.”

As Chang ramps up warnings about the threat of Communist China, the influence that China has in the U.S. continues to grow. A new report from the National Association of Realtors (NAR) on Monday revealed that China became the top foreign buyer of real estate in the United States last year, purchasing more than $6 billion in U.S. homes.

“Due to rising interest rates, overall home sales will decline in the U.S. this year. Foreign buyers, however, are likely to step up purchases, as those making all-cash offers will be immune from changes in interest rates,” said NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun. “In addition, international flights have increased in recent months with the lifting of pandemic-related travel restrictions.”

Chang isn’t alone in his efforts to highlight the dangers posed by the Chinese Communist Party. Earlier this month, FBI Director Christopher Wray echoed Chang’s warnings, asserting that the Chinese Communist Party is the “biggest long-term threat” to the United States.

“We consistently see that it’s the Chinese government that poses the biggest long-term threat to our economic and national security, and by ‘our,’ I mean both of our nations, along with our allies in Europe and elsewhere,” he said during remarks in London, England on July 6.
