Are you active-duty military, a veteran or a military family member? Target wants to thank you for your service. The big box retailer, which offers a 10% Veterans Day military appreciation discount annually, recently announced plans to extend that offer to include the Independence Day holiday.
“During Military Heritage Month, we made a promise to show veterans and service members we care year-round, and our July 4th Military Appreciation discount is just one way we’re honoring our pledge,” the company noted in a statement.
Those wishing to utilize the discount should sign into Target Circle and confirm their military verification. A document, such as a Veteran ID Card, is needed to confirm military status. After being verified, military shoppers can use the 10% discount on up to two separate transactions, online or in-store between June 26 through July 4.
The company will also highlight veteran Target employees and customers, sharing stories about their service on the Team Target Instagram account.
