Hunter Biden’s years-long business partner Eric Schwerin visited the White House during the Obama-Biden administration 27 times, including a sit-down with then-Vice President Joe Biden and eight visits in 2016 that were recently revealed, visitor logs show.
According to Fox News on Tuesday, Schwerin met with then-Vice President Joe Biden’s chief of staff Steve Ricchetti, who now serves as a top adviser in the Biden-Harris administration.
During his visits, Schwerin also met with Anne Marie Person in Biden’s “West Wing” office while she was an assistant to then-Vice President Biden. Person previously worked for Rosemont Seneca Partners, the investment firm managed by Schwerin and Hunter Biden.
When asked about the recent visitor logs bringing the total number of visits to 27, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said this week that she didn’t “have any information” on it, but would “check and see if we have any more comment.”
Fox reported that Schwerin had three additional visits with other staff members in then-Vice President Biden’s office, including John McGrail, a counselor to Biden, and Kaitlyn Demers, an associate counsel in Biden’s office. Demers currently serves as special assistant to President Biden and his Chief of Staff, Ron Klain.
The New York Post reported that Schwerin had an in-person meeting in the West Wing with then-Vice President Joe Biden, as well, casting doubt on Biden’s claims that he was not involved in his son’s business dealings.
“I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” Biden said in 2019.
When Fox News Digital reached out to the Biden White House for comment, an official dismissed the inquiry and instead criticized the supposed lack of “transparency” in the Trump administration.
“These are all meetings that have been public for years because both the Obama-Biden Administration and this administration released visitor records for the sake of transparency – a practice discontinued during the Trump years,” the official said.
Sen. Ron Johnson said the visitor logs prove Biden lied about his professional relationship with his son.
”Not everyone gets to meet the Vice President of the United States in the White House. The press should be asking why Hunter Biden’s business associates — like Eric Schwerin — had that privilege and were given access to the Obama White House,” said Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin). “This is additional evidence that Joe Biden lied when he said he never discussed Hunter’s foreign business dealings. It’s well past time for the corporate media to demand the truth from Joe Biden. The corruption of Biden Inc. must be exposed.”
