A car stop on Staten Island led to the arrest of a person who allegedly had a fake gun and a bogus police shield, according to a post on social media.
“Outstanding police work by Officers Ustick and Fabrizio,” said a message on the 121st Precinct Twitter feed.
The fake pistol and badge are seen in a photo attached to the message.

Outstanding police work by Officers Ustick and Fabrizio. After conducting a traffic stop, they placed an individual in custody for driving a stolen vehicle. The individual was also in possession of this very real looking imitation pistol and fake police shield.
