All 96 passengers of the Philippine Air Force C-130 plane that crashed in Patikul, Sulu on Sunday and killed 47 military personnel have been accounted for, Armed Forces of the Philippines spokesperson Maj. Gen. Edgard Arevalo said on Monday.
Three civilians on the ground were also killed, bringing the overall death toll to 50, Arevalo said in an interview on radio station DZBB.
Forty-nine military personnel were injured.
The C-130 plane was carrying Philippine Army troops bound for Sulu to help combat terrorism.
The plane tried to land but overshot the Jolo airport runway.
