An Air Force veteran is behind bars after police say she shot two men in the head during an argument, killing one.

It happened just after 3 a.m. Wednesday at a residential complex at 2020 Taylor Street, just east of North Dixie Highway and North 21st Avenue.

It began when two couples, including 32-year-old Tiffany Miranda and her boyfriend, went out for the evening and began arguing. Once back at their apartment, Miranda was told she had to move out, according to the police report.

Miranda, 32, then pushed the one of the men against the front door, pulled a gun from her waistband and shot him in the head, the report stated. When a second man came in from the balcony, she also shot him in the head, police said.

An individual, who has not been identified by police, witnessed the shootings.

Both men were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital, where one later died. The other man was in critical condition Thursday. The names of the victims were not made public.

Miranda left the apartment after the shootings, but turned herself in hours later, the report said.

Miranda is facing one count each of premeditated murder and attempted premeditated murder. She is being held without bond at the Broward County Jail.
