As a salute and a thank you to veterans, the parent company of Busch Gardens in Tampa is offering them free admission to all its theme parks this spring.
And it’s not just for the soldier: They can bring along three family members for a free day, too. Veterans can also purchase up to six additional tickets at half-price. Active military members are currently offered the same deal yearround.
For the new veteran deal, those interested must register at the company’s Waves of Honor website (wavesofhonor.com) by May 16. After registering, all tickets must be redeemed by June 27.
“Following a challenging year, it’s a true privilege to honor the brave men and women who serve and sacrifice so much for our country,” said Marc Swanson, interim chief executive officer of SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, which runs seven theme parks across the country.
The offer is good at both SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens, which has some events coming up before the tickets expire. Those include Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends running through May 23; Guy Harvey Weekend on May 15-16; and Summer Nights, with extended hours and fireworks, May 28-Sept. 6.
