A U.S. Army soldier has died in Kuwait and two more are injured in a non-combat vehicle accident on Monday, according to an Army statement provided to American Military News.

No additional details were provided, and the deceased victim’s name will be withheld for 24 hours until next-of-kin notification is completed.

“We send our heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased,” the Army statement said.

The incident is currently under investigation.

The incident comes two months after U.S. Air Force Capt. Kelliann Leli died in a “non-combat related vehicle incident at Al Dhafra Air Base,” United Arab Emirates on Nov. 27.

Two months earlier, a U.S. Air Force airman was killed and two airmen injured in a nondescript vehicle crash outside Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait on Sept 12.

In that crash, 26-year-old Senior Airman Jason Khai Phan was identified as the deceased airman. The two injured airmen were transported to a hospital at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait with non-life-threatening injuries.
