A parking scofflaw shoved an elderly NYPD traffic enforcement agent to the ground in Brooklyn because he didn’t want a ticket, cops said Thursday.
Surveillance video released Thursday caught the callous motorist in the act.
The 72-year-old agent was writing up a summons at about 2:45 p.m. Nov. 27 after the motorist parked his gray Nissan Rogue at a bus stop on Fifth Ave. at 58th St. in Sunset Park, police said.
The man, dressed in a black shirt, with a mask hanging low under his nose, stormed up to the agent and got within inches of his face. He shoved both arms forward, sending the agent flying backward to the ground.
He then drove south on Fifth Ave., police said.
Medics took the agent to NYU Langone Hospital in stable condition, with bruises and pain to his back.
Cops ask anyone with info on the pusher to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
