Tens of thousands of President Donald Trump supporters rallied in the streets of Washington D.C. on Saturday and were met by counter-demonstrators, including several who attacked the Trump supporters, and one of which stole a woman’s American flag.

A Twitter user posted, “chaos as a trump supporter’s flag is ripped out of her hands as she’s forced out while being threatened #MAGAMarchDC #Trump2020 #BlackLivesMatter.”

Daily Caller reporter Shelby Talcott tweeted footage of the woman’s red Make America Great Again hat being stolen moments before her flag was taken. Talcott tweeted, “Trump supporters are being denied from BLM Plaza and harassed by black bloc members. This woman had her hat taken, her flag repeatedly ripped away (eventually it was stolen) and later her hair was pulled as people in the crowd followed them away from the plaza.”

A second video of the flag theft was captured from another angle. “Protesters are grabbing any Trump or American flags they can as they chase some of the Trump supporters out of BLM Plaza in DC #DCProtests #DC #BLM.”

In another video, the same woman who had her flag stolen was punched in the back of the head by an attacker.

Another attempt to steal an American flag was caught on camera at BLM Plaza. “Clashes between Black Lives Matter protesters and Trump supporters at BLM Plaza, DC Police intervening as fires are set in the street #DC #DCProtests.”

The Associated Press reported nearly two dozen people were arrested in connection with the Trump rally event in D.C. on Saturday. One of those arrested was a 26-year-old D.C. man charged with assault with a dangerous weapon for launching a firework at several people. Four more people, all but one confirmed as D.C. residents, were charged in relation to a man being knocked unconscious and then assaulted by others.

Police reportedly said at least 10 people they arrested were from D.C. and others came from neighboring Maryland and Virginia. Others arrested came from New York, New Jersey, South Carolina, and Georgia

In another video, counter-demonstrators can be seen throwing a firework at Trump supporters near an outdoor dining area.

“DC: Antifa and BLM throw explosive projectiles at Trump Supporters eating dinner. Trump supporters can be seen fleeing into the building for their safety. There seems to be strategic attacks by Antifa on Trump Supporter occupied buildings,” a Twitter user posted.

A Twitter user posted, “Chaotic scene as protesters tried following some Trump supporters into their hotel, prompting a large police response #DCProtests #MarchForTrump #DC.”
