Target’s popular Veterans Day military discount is back.
For the fourth year in a row, the Minneapolis-based retailer will offer a special 10% discount off a purchase in stores or online between Sunday and Nov. 11 to all active-duty U.S. military personnel, veterans and their families. Some exclusions apply.
Similar to how Target gave teachers a back-to-school discount this summer, eligible shoppers need to sign up to verify eligibility for the savings. To get verified and learn more, go to Target.com/circle/military.
“After eligibility has been verified, an exclusive, one-time use 10% Target Circle offer will be available for the guest to use in-store or online Nov. 1-11, 2020,” Target says on its website.
Target Circle is the retailer’s free loyalty program and is available on the Target app for Apple and Android devices.
“New this year, guests can add a veteran or military family status to their Target Circle profile — making them eligible for bonus offers,” Target said in a news release about the military discount. “Also with Target Circle, any member can vote to direct Target’s community giving funds to local military organizations in certain markets.”
The military discount excludes alcohol, dairy milk and select items including some electronics and video game systems, face masks, specific toys like Barbie Dreamhouse, Disney Frozen Castle, Elf on the Shelf, Elvie, brands like HP, Bose, Instant Pot, Lego, Hasbro Games and more.
There’s a limit of one per coupon per guest and it cannot be combined with any other Category Coupon, according to the promotion’s fine print.
