Two military Humvees and a tractor-trailer were involved in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday on Interstate 495, authorities said.

Several people suffered what appeared to be minor injuries, Massachusetts State Police spokesman David Procopio said.

All three vehicles were traveling north on I-495 in Hopkinton. The crash occurred about a mile from exit 22, he said. The crash blocked the right travel lanes, resulting in heavy traffic delays approaching the interchange.

One of the Humvees was driven by a 23-year-old man from Acushnet. The second one was driven by a 22-year-old Bridgewater man and the commercial truck was driven by a 22-year-old Wrentham man. The vehicle is owned by Reilly’s Express of Bellingham.

All three vehicles were towed form the scene. The cause is not known and remains under investigation.
