Noor Bin Ladin, the niece of former Al Qaeda terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden warned that another 9/11-style attack like the one her uncle masterminded may be imminent if President Donald Trump loses his reelection and Joe Biden becomes president.
In her first-ever interview, Bin Ladin, 33, told the New York Post she has supported Trump since he first started his campaign in 2015 and said, “He must be re-elected … It’s vital for the future of not only America, but Western civilization as a whole.”
Bin Ladin credited Trump with stopping the proliferation of ISIS, which grew under the previous administration. “ISIS proliferated under the Obama/Biden administration, leading to them coming to Europe. Trump has shown he protects America and us by extension from foreign threats by obliterating terrorists at the root and before they get a chance to strike,” she said.
Bin Ladin added, “You look at all the terrorist attacks that have happened in Europe over the past 19 years. They have completely shaken us to the core. [Radical Islam] has completely infiltrated our society. In the U.S. it’s very worrying that the left has aligned itself completely with the people who share that ideology.”
Bin Ladin went on to criticize “Squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar who, in a controversial set of remarks, described the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks as an incident where “some people did something.”
“You do have a situation now in America where you have people like Ilhan Omar who actively hate your country,” Bin Ladin said.
Bin Ladin also criticized Omar for her 2016 letter to a judge, as reported by FOX 9, urging “compassion” in the sentencing of nine Minnesota men charged with planning to join ISIS.
Bin Ladin said, “It’s an honor to be able to go and live in the United States and make the most out of all the opportunities. If [Omar] hates it so much, why doesn’t she leave?”
Bin Ladin, who was born and raised in Switzerland, has distanced herself and her infamous terrorist uncle, who orchestrated the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks when she was just 14. Her branch of the family has always spelled its name different from her deceased uncle, Osama Bin Laden.
Though she lives in Switzerland, Bin Ladin says she considers herself “an American at heart” and says her dream vacation is an RV trip across America. She has visited the U.S. in the past and despite her family history, she said she felt overwhelmed by the “kindness and understanding” of Americans she has met.
Though the 9/11 memorial wasn’t finished when she last visited, Bin Ladin says she also would like to visit the memorial the next time she is in New York.
“I really want to go and pay my respects,” she said.
